The recipe for these came from a cook book of 1863. The walled herb gardens of Oxfordshire inspired their creation. They are mildly herbed and contain lemon juice.

Ingredients: 88% pork, oats, water, sea salt, pepper, herb selection & lemon juice.

The sausages made in Sidlesham, south of Chichester, West Sussex are high meat/low fat recipes.
